Ingredients: Wheat Flour (Gluten), Sugar, Cinnamon, Ground Ginger (0.8%), Raising Agent (Baking Soda)

You will need to add: Butter, Egg, Golden Syrup, Milk and Water

Baking Instructions

Preheat oven to 150c.

In a bowl add the softened butter and the sugar from the sachet and cream together.  Add the eggs and mix.  In a pot add the golden syrup and milk and warm until the golden syrup is dissolved. Add alternatively with the contents of pouch to the creamed butter mixture.  Add the soda dissolved in the warm water to the mixture and mix until combined.  Line 2 loaf sized tins with baking paper and pour mixture in evenly between the two tins.  Bake for 1 hour. Loaf is baked when a cake tester of toothpick inserted into middle of loaf comes out clean.
