Banana cake is THE best way to use up over-ripe bananas. Think of this cake mix as helping you recycle and prevent food waste!
We love banana cake so much that we’ve really taken our time perfecting it. And now it’s as delicious a banana cake as we’ve ever tried (and we’ve tried a few!)
• Use ripe bananas for super-banana taste and sweetness
• Use the baking mix to make banana muffins as well as cake
• Add a chocolate or lemon icing to help it disappear off the plate even quicker!
A moist and naturally sweet banana cake that is perfect for afternoon tea.
Our Baking Mix ingredients: Wheat Flour (Gluten), Sugar, Raising Agents (500, 450), Raising Agent (Baking Soda)

May Contain: Milk, Soy, Peanut, Egg, Tree Nuts
You need to add: Butter, Eggs, Banana (mashed) & Milk
Preheat oven to 175c.
Put softened butter into a bowl, add sugar from cellophane bag and cream until light and fluffy. Add eggs, mashed bananas and mix. Heat milk until near boiling and add baking soda from cellophane bag and stir until frothy. Add to mixture with contents of pouch and stir to combine. Place mixture into a greased and lined 25 cm round baking tin. Bake approx.45 minutes. Cake is baked when a cake tester or toothpick inserted into middle of cake comes out clean.
