INGREDIENTS YOU NEED:
125g butter
2 tbsp golden syrup
2 eggs
BAKING TOOLS YOU NEED:
Mixing bowl
Egg beater
Spoon
Baking trays
Baking paper
INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat oven to 160c conventional / 140c fan bake. Line oven trays with baking paper. Soften butter in a bowl. Add sugar from cellophane bag and cream together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and golden syrup and mix. Add contents of pouch and mix until combined. Place heaped tablespoon full amounts onto lined oven trays allowing plenty of space between. Bake for 20 minutes.
Extra Ginger?
Add chopped crystallised ginger for extra warmth and flavour.
Crunchier Biscuits
Bake a little longer for more crunch.
Perfect Shape
Flatten slightly before baking.
Best Texture
Allow to cool fully for that classic snap.
