Wheat Flour (Gluten), Sugar, Peanuts (20%), Cocoa, Raising Agents (500, 450), Salt

Made in a kitchen that processes: Milk, Soy, Egg, Tree Nuts

EQUIPMENT YOU NEED:
Mixing bowl
Egg beater
Spoon
Baking trays
Baking paper

INGREDIENTS YOU NEED:
125g butter
1 egg

INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat oven to 180c conventional / 160c fan bake.  Line oven trays with baking paper. Put aside the cellophane bag of peanuts. Soften butter in a bowl. Add sugar from cellophane bag and cream until light and fluffy.  Add egg and contents of pouch and mix.  Add the peanuts from cellophane bag and mix until combined. Roll into heaped tablespoon sized balls place on lined oven trays.  Flatten balls slightly by pressing down gently with a floured fork. Bake 15 minutes.

Let them cool on the tray for a few minutes before moving  they’ll be very soft straight out of the oven but firm up as they sit.

It’s that familiar chocolate-and-peanut combo in a proper homemade biscuit  simple, satisfying and just like you remember.
